The part shown on the left was machined using VisualMILL 5.0/RhinoCAM 1.0's 5 axis indexed capabilities on a Thermwood 2005 machine.  The machine has a head/head configuration.  The part was approached in 4 different orientations and machined using Horizontal Roughing and Parallel Finishing.  You can see the stair steps left by the horizontal Roughing toolpath in the bottom areas.  The client liked this pattern so much that he preferred to leave the pattern as is on the final part!
